Saturday Saturday 7th June 1pm - 2.30

Here we have an opportunity for you to experience another new and unusual fused glass workshops, to make for yourself or a loved one.  At this workshop you can make two hot air balloons each one measuring approximately 9x6 cm.  You will be supplied a clear shaped piece of glass plus frit, murine, dots and stringers (don’t worry we’ll explain what they are) to decorate it with.  Plus we haven’t forgotten some refreshments too!

The pieces will then taken away to be fired in a kiln and a bail (hook) added and matching ribbon added.  They will the be returned to Forever After a week later for collection.

 

You will be guided by an experienced fused glass artist, Claire Myers of Cherry Tree Glass Studio.  Please note that this workshop is for the over 18 and over crowd.

Absolutely everyone is welcome, no matter your skill level. If you have any special requests or needs, just give us a heads-up, and we'll bend over backward to make it happen.

Kindly be aware that our craft area is situated on the first floor, and the only means of access is via a staircase.

  • Up to 28 days before the event: Full ticket price refund, excluding the website fee (approx. 11%), or transfer to a future event if available.
  • 27 to 14 days before the event: 50% ticket price refund, minus the website fee (approx. 11%), or transfer to a future event if available.
  • Less than 14 days before the event: No refund or transfer.
